"What an excellent idea. I find the very large sculptures particularly impressive. Having to view your work from afar at each stage of its development must be time consuming. A great use of colour for the flames, I love the novelty human addition too!"

The school says:

"This was the first year we took part in the competition. The whole school collected the directories and Year 6 used them to create the sculpture. We chose a battle theme to represent the big battle we all face against waste but a challenge we can win by recycling. It’s been a great team-building exercise for the children."
