Entry to the UK Awards 2007 is now closed. Winners will be notified and announced on this site in November and December 2007.

Prizes for schools

Recycling Champions
£2,000 will be awarded to three schools (one small, one medium and one large) that recycle the most directories per pupil in the UK.

UK Merit Awards
£1,000 will be awarded to schools that show outstanding achievement in the following categories:

  • Most Improved School
  • Most Promising Newcomer
  • Community Involvement
  • Education in Action

Yellow Pages UK Sculpture Competition
We've received a fantastic 163 entries to this fun and optional competition this year.
Six finalists will be chosen by our team of artistic judges in October 2008 and three winners will be decided by a public online vote in November 2008.

The following prizes will be awarded to schools that created the top three winning sculptures in the UK:

1st prize:£1,000
2nd prize:£750
3rd prize:£500


Prizes for recycling organisers

UK Recycling Organisers Awards
One recycling organiser from England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales will be awarded with a special certificate and prize for organising outstanding Challenges.

Judges will be looking for your outstanding achievement in:
  • percentage of schools participating
  • directories collected
  • adherence to the Challenge timetable
  • publicity efforts
